“Whiskey Haze” is one of the most personal songs I’ve ever written. It’s about regret, loneliness, and the kind of heartbreak that lingers long after someone is gone. The song starts slow and somber, like the weight of the past pressing down, but as the music builds, so does the energy—just like that desperate, whiskey-fueled search for something (or someone) you know you’ll never find again. I poured my soul into this one, and I hope it hits home for anyone who’s ever tried to drown out their past, only to find it staring back at them in the bottom of a glass.
